If you have a look on http://www.mkiv.com under tech articles and look at one of the boost controller installs it will show you where the wategate is.

 

You basically want to put your bleeder in the line going into the wastegate. Be careful with setting it up though.

 

You do have a boost gauge right ? (Edit: just saw your spec list, watch it like a hawk and start with the bleedvalve fully closed)
