Blimey, not trying to put a dampner on things (No pun intended), Wednesday is supposed to be another manic day, I'd leave as early as you possibly can if I was you...

Where abouts is the wedding? (Don't worry, I'm not after an invite... lol)

Stu, is our road flooded ?

My sister says the garage was fine this morning... could be coz she's too lazy to empty it of course coz it's my stuff in there not hers! Garage is a bit higher up than you are (opposite where my car was parked).

I ain't coming back til it's Sup-safe lol.

We're fine hun, my garage is lower than where you parked yours when I carded you (You must have seen mine)...

The road isn't flooded at all, we seem to be fine, it's just the roads around us, and especially the A40 if you come from the Gloucester end, it was horriffic there on Friday, 200 stranded cars on the roundabout, even busses and trucks were getting flooded...

At the moment, the water levels aren't an issue, it's the tap water being off, and the power being dodgy...

My sisters house was flooded last month (Longlevens) and they've since been living with my parents in Longhope. On Friday it flooded again and is under 5 foot of water, also writing off all the insurance companies dehumidifiers from the 1st flodd!

She's supposed to be getting married on Thursday, so it's major stress time at my parents place this week. Heading back there Wednesday... just hope they still have running water and the roads are open....

Longlevens and Longford got hit really bad. More so than last month. Some friend in Longford only just moved back in to be washed out again.

Now it seems the latest news bulletin says the one remaining power sub station in Gloucester serving 500,000 people will get knocked out as the flood level peaks at midnight.

Tap water is no more.

It's going to be a very interesting in the next few days/weeks/months.

Ah bugger :( I'm supposed to be meeting my future bro-in laws family for a meal at 7pm (they've all travelling over from Lebanon and Ghana!), but will struggle to get out of work by 4pm.

The wedding is at Clearwell castle, I *think* it's out of the way of the major problems in Gloucester

I wish I could say no worries, but from what I've seen and dealt with, tbh mate, think the worst, then add the confusion and panic the normo's put on top, and it'll be worse than that...

It is pretty bad down here, I guess people like me and Chewie can take it in our stride...I'm gutted you you and your sis & family that they had the event planned for this weekend, but of course, there was no way of knowing...

Homer - How are things looking for the wedding?...

For anyone else, I know the bowser situation's pretty lame still, I've got plenty of water here, so if anyone wants to get a few litres off me, then just shout...
