Mike M
Think my seatbelt inertia is gubbed on the drivers side, everytime I hit a bump in the road it click and sounds like its trying to do something. My understanding is these things have an electrical connection to the inertia off the ignition but I dont know why. It started clicking just driving today, doing my head in now. Ric
no, they have a little pendulem(sp) inside which locks the seat belt when you break heavyly etc
Mike M
I was almost 99% sure they released their tension when the ignition was turned off, even the g/f's noticed it but i'm been known to be wrong you know. I've been told about import MR2's have a weird setup with their belts that wont tension until the ignition is on so thought this was similar. BTW it still works ok when you give it a sharp jolt. weird. Cheers Mike
