MrRalphMan
Just had a call at 08:00 from the MIL saying she's in Asda and they have the new Potter book for £5. Have asked her to get one for our son.. and I thought that Adsa had been refused the book from the publiser as they were going to sell it dirt cheep.. Charlotte
whats the point in reading it when it will be a film soon, Mike used to live with someone with a similar view. He used to say "The films are always better than the books, then you can see what the people should look like". Errr yeah if you have no imagination! I'm not rushing out to buy it, it's the last one, I'll be sad when I finish it.

Later that night i thought ide have to take the piss a little, I then found out she bought it as a present for her BOYFRIEND! Now i can understand an Andy Mcnab SAS book (Im not a fan) but Harry Bloody Potter I mean WTF! He actually wanted it!!!!!!!!!
mwilkinson
Jody, You display the same reaction that I use to have to the whole Potter thing. Then one day while on holiday while completely bored having finished a book by Umberto Eco called 'Baudolino' I read the first book. Now it was no masterpiece but was very enjoyable and easy to read (Thats because its kids book ). IMO it's a total rip off the 'Worst Witch' for those who can remember that.
