Justin
FAO Electricians etc After successfully removing my active spoiler I now have the large red warning triangle in my speedo permanently. I guess it is being triggered by the loss of continuity to the assembly no? I thought just by unplugging the switch in the dash would stop it but it is a bit cleverer than me obviously. Questions: 1. Do I need to make a bridge to cause a circuit between two pins/wires in the remaining male half of the connector. Does anyone know what colours I should connect up if this is the case. There are 5 pins in the connector. (see pic) or 2. Do I just locate and pull out an appropriate fuse? Any other good ideas welcome Cheers
Alex
Hi ya, To disable my active spoiler I unplugged it from behind the stereo. There is a silver box behind the stereo ontop of or below the ABS unit unplug it and it disables the active spoiler with no dashboard warning lights. I think its the silver ox with the smaller connector in it, the other silver box has a very wide plug on it. I just guessed when I did it....not the most scientific experiment ever!!! THOR Racing
Just short pins 3&4 of the connector. This makes the Spoiler unit believe the blade is parked. Pete
