jazz1
currently i have a 295/30/19 tyre but im looking for more of a lower strecthed side wall not too much from the one i have, if i went for a 295/25/19 would that give me more of a lower wall on my 12" wheels? http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=93274 or would a 285/30/19 be a better option? also what does the middle numbers mean? what would ne the difference as in cm between 25 and 30? Whitesupraboy2
the middle number is the percentage of the tyre width. i.e 30% of 285 = tyre wall height. I have 305/25 and the ride is so harsh keep the tyre wall!!!
jazz1
i would love to keep the tyre wall but i need it in slightly more as i think it may catch on the edge of my trial rear

jazz1
heres 275/30/19 on my car which was over stretched
RobSheffield
Jazz, how wide are your wheels? You are aware that stretching is NOT wise. You should fit wheels of appropriate width for the car and/or fit overfenders and tyres of appropriate width for the wheels. FYI the trial rear wont get 'caught' on the tyres, there is much more for them to catch first
jazz1
i got small overfenders jamiep gave me they look flush with them on just hope the trial rear wont catch:)
jazz1
i might just keep them on and do a slight negative rear camber when i get my geo tracking and all that stuff done, they still look nice just worried they may catch on the edge of my trial rear iv rolled the arches completly, if i stick the suspension on hard dampness would that help? jazz1
information i got of supraforums "REALLY do not think a 285 will work if that is a 12" rim... I would recommend you go with a Pirelli 295 first. The conti contact2 295 30 19 is really like a 315 30" "I'm sure it will...remember each tire Manu has a different spec to their "295" Conti contact happens to be the widest"
