razza
Some idiot drove into the side of me this morning, he was too busy "looking at the hot air balloon" to see me. Luckily he was only going slowly as he went into the passenger side. The damage is the rear of the passenger door, the side skirt is smashed, the rear quarter panel is slightly pushed in and a scuff on the rear wheel. I'll put up photos later. I need to find a decent bodyshop to do the repairs and painting, as don't want a multishade side of the car. Any recommendations in the berkshire area? Also is it easy to repair the rear quarter panel, the part in front of the wheel arch where the air intake is - needs pulling out...?
Pig
Give me a call if you want some advise. Manage accidents for a living - 07866750908 Would be too far for me to repair though.
Homer
Sorry to hear this. For accident repair I wouldn't bother with anyone else apart from GVN in Chiswick. Presumably his insurnace are paying, so why settle for 2nd best...
razza
Thanks, I'm with Sky and have spoken to ensign and the accident support line so they can chase the excess up, luckily I've got my no claims protected... photos, also can someone let me know what my sideskirts are and where I could source them from? http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/vbpicgallery.php?do=big&p=3363 Cheers Razza

SilverMachine
Sorry about your accident. I only know bodyshops in Wales & M/cr. Hope you get it sorted. Gaz
Homer
photos, also can someone let me know what my sideskirts are and where I could source them from? This might be a problem, they're OEM ones which I do not think are available anymore - might be worth checking with someone like Nic...

Gaz6002
A little less further afield is Millway Vehicle Specialists in Andover mate and they are also very VERY good. They paint the F1 trucks etc. They did my bumper and I was very impressed. And no crappy micra with them - they gave me a Mazda 4 or something Do a google search and give them a call, they do a lot of insurance jobs. razza
just checked with Nic and it looks like the OEM skirts could take 4-6 weeks, if he can get any, and they come in a set with spats so very pricey (but their insurance cost though). Does anyone know anyone that has any for sale?

Does anyone know anyone that has any for sale? Jive on here recently bought some from a guy on Ebay who was making them or something. He said they appeared to be of good quality, but the last time I spoke to him he hadn't got round to fitting them, so he didn't know what the fitment would be like. Drop him a PM, see what he says about them and who was selling them on Ebay.
Pig
gutted, I hope not, I'll give him a try Agree with homer - GVN is the nuts! With regards a car, i can sort a good car for you. Last member with a supra got a celica. Also there maybe no need to claim off your own insurance. They should be able to do credit repair.( Which is claiming directly off the 3rd parts) This means you dont have to pay your excess etc. Speak to GVN or someone in the know...... not your insurance Dont forget you are legally entitled to take the car to be repair wherever you like, so dont let them pressure you into an approved bodyshop. supRo
Stick to GVN mate. There's a reason why they are always repairing ferraris, Rolls Royce and Lambos!
razza
spoke to insurance and they're fine to go with GVN, going to check out the credit repair route first.
