SOLD.

This is one of my girlfriend's stepdad's cars. He does skid-pan and race circuit driving tuition. The MX-5 was bought as a circuit training car but was never used as such due to a busy schedule and getting old (Him, not the car! ;)).

So, it has only covered 60,000 miles, and only 400 miles in the last four years. Unusually for an MX-5 it has air conditioning and a limited slip diff. The car is fitted with new EBC Greenstuff pads, BBS rims (which are rather pitted although a set of OEM rims are included as well), and electric windows.

He's moving to Spain in two weeks and needs this sold to pay for a Transit van.

Here is his own description:

BEAUTIFUL MX5 1.6 MX5 CONVERTIBLE, FINISHED IN STUNNING RED WITH A BLACK CLOTH INTERIOR,

THE CAR IS EQUIPPED WITH A BODY KIT WHICH REALLY COMPLEMENTS THE CAR GIVING IT A REALLY ATTRACTIVE AND AERODYNAMIC LOOK.

THE MX5 IS EQUIPPED WITH AIR CONDITIONING, ELECTRIC WINDOWS, POWER STEERING, WHARFEDALE RADIO/CD PLAYER AND COMES WITH A 12 MONTH MOT. THE CAR PERFORMS FAULTLESSLY AND IS TOTALLY RELIABLE.

THE MX5 HAS ONLY COVERED 400 MILES IN THE LAST 4 YEARS BUT HAS STILL BEEN FASTIDIOUSLY SERVICED. LAST SERVICE 50 MILES AGO WHICH INCLUDED NEW BRAKE PADS FRONT/REAR AND NEW FAN BELT AS WELL AS ALL OILS AND FILTERS ETC.

THE MX5 IS NOT ONLY FANTASTIC FUN TO DRIVE BUT IS ALSO 100% RELIABLE.

THE ONLY NEGATIVE IS SOME PITTING TO THE ALLOY WHEELS, BUT A SET OF STANDARD WHEELS IS INCLUDED WITH THE CAR.

THIS A GREAT OPPORTUNITY TO ENJOY THE LATE SUMMER WITH THE WIND IN YOUR HAIR.

YOU ARE WELCOME TO INSPECT THE CAR BEFORE BUYING, I AM APPROX. 12 MILES FROM CHESTER.

Sort your light covers out dude!

Common prob them not sitting flush with the bonnet but you can just grab the edges and pull them back into shape :)

Every time we put our MK1s into a garage they would come back with bent covers, bloody mechanics leaning on them.

Good luck with the sale.

The car is in Oswustry, which is (a) definately not spelled like that, and (b) somewhere not too far from Ellesmere port and Oulton park race circuit.

They're moving to Spain in the next week or two so I don't know what's going to happen. I suppose if it's not sold then it could be brought here to Sale, Cheshire.
