SIMON LC
Ok I know its been said many times but is it true to say that they are a waste of time and best to stick with standard box and high flow replacement element?

Yes stick with stock over anything else. If you insist that you have to have an aftermarket jobby then Apexi is the best aftermarket option, however I would invest in a heatshield and use the top intake from the stock box to give your after market a cold feed and to shield it from the heat of the angine bay. Joeatphr
HKS filters tend to disintegrate and go into your intake after so long.... In my opinion as the same as above. Wait tell you go single turbo.
Nic
Ok I know its been said many times but is it true to say that they are a waste of time and best to stick with standard box and high flow replacement element? Yes best to stick with the stock airbox, if you do fit an induction kit I'd recommend either the Power Enterprise or Blitz Sonic. http://www.power-enterprise.co.jp/products/english/main/inteke&exhaust/air_impulse/air_impulse.html http://www.blitz.co.jp/products/aircleaner/sonicpower.htm
