Bob
Well, the contract has finally come through and everything is just getting finalised, but I'm definitely moving to Bahrain with my wife, Shelley I'm gonna be starting as Project Engineer for the main management company on this project here: http://www.durratbahrain.com http://www.durratbahrain.com/Library/Images/view_masterplan.jpg - should be a nice addition to the CV anyway Wages aren't brilliant, but it's tax-free, accomodation and living costs paid for, and a much better quality of life (certainly if you're in the construction industry, anyway!) I'll be leaving at the very end of August, which means I'll probably have to sell most of my tools and stuff too I'll be selling up anything I can get my hands on, so keep your eyes peeled

Bob
Oh and tools for sale.... interesting... what kind? Nothing overly glorious, just my standard odds and sods - socket set (Halfords Pro), various hand tools, 10" bench saw with stand, just various bits and bobs that I can't really think about at the moment! I'll stick a list together sooner or later ready for the sale Maz - sadly the Supra was the first thing I checked, but RHD cars aren't allowed out there I may well look into importing a LHD one in the future . . . Bob
The car is now sold A guy who's missus was with the celica-club had a look at it, then I took him out for a test drive (luckily, the only few minutes where the roads were dry!) and by the 3rd roundabout we were talking money! I'm happy in a way, as I got the full £6k I was after. I couldn't wander over and say hi to everyone at the stand though, as all those Supras were making my bottom lip tremble! Depressing watching it drive away though, isn't it?! :edit: Oops, in the wrong thread . . .

Branners
I watched a programme on channel 5 the other day about the building of 'the world' in Dubai. It was amazing to see how they build these things up from nothing. Dredging the sea bottom for sand for miles and miles and then precision firing in to the sea to build the islands. best of luck out there.
