Fifty
Probably a total dumb question but Whats everyones view on adding bodykit etc and respray. If I were to spend 5K on my car thats worth 10K whats the loss likely to be or conversely does this "add value" say if the car is mechanically perfect? I would be right in thinking this is likely not to be too good an investment? - but fun. 50:innocent:
Bobbeh
Full respray might help 'up' the price a little, body kit wont agree with everyones tastes when it comes to selling, you'll not make anything like what you're gonna spend on the car. You'd be best tarting up the stock version if you intend making money on it. (usually).

lovatt
if you add a body kit this may up the price to the right buyer but lower it to some as they see it as a *non genuine* car, the respray may up the price slightly but it will make it harder to sell if its not the original colour for the same reason as the body kit, if your car is worth 10k and you spend 5k on it the right buyer will see it as worth 11-12k another buyer may see it as being worth 9k as its *non genuine*, it all depends on the buyer and what he is after in the long run, it also depends on the quality of the work done, i would say if you have a car worth 10k and you spend 5k on it its still worth 10k
