ivan
I had one fly into my beer can many years ago. You can guess what happened. Right on the flippin tongue!
Havard
I got strung by a wasp at Blackpool last year.........two quid for a can of coke..... If it's any help, we trapped one in a bottle of Bulmers yesteday and blocked the top with a serviette. We were dining outside a pub and spent the whole meal watching a semi pissed wasp go out of it fooking mind!! H.

Haha! bet that hurt At least you didnt swallow it whole to do whatever it wanted to inside you! If it's any help, we trapped one in a bottle of Bulmers yesteday and blocked the top with a serviette. Muffleman
Opened the loft hatch couple of weeks ago, flicked the light on and a wasp just came down and stung me on the face, then it buggered off ! Thanks ! There was none of this landing on me and then stinging me, it must have dived at me arse out and sting at the ready It was then that I looked round and saw a few more, then I saw the nest ! Watch for the Matt shaped blur The sting did hurt too. It was all the missus could do to prevent me from exacting a huge and bloody revenge on the nest. Probably a good thing really. Anyone off here remember the mole thread on scoobynet a few years back ? It would've been similar However, it's probably for the best, I am sure my 'revenge' would've ended up in a burnt down house and a face covered in stings
Pixelfill
I almost literally sat on a wasps nest as a kid, building a den or something. I feel your pain. There were three of us, and between us we were stung over 100 times Needless to say I have a very real phobia of wasps, bees and anything that either looks like them or can sting. Guest gzaerojon
i HATE wasps, i go mental when they fly near me lol speaking of flying insects, it was night of the flying ants tonight, the buggers were everywhere. It always seems like they just phone each other, as when they're out, they're out all over the place from town to town. anyone had flying ants tonight? Kieran
Wasps can be fun! In only 5 easy steps too. 1. Catch one of the little sh!tes with a cup and a piece of card 2. Put it in the freezer for 10 minutes so it sort of goes to sleep 3. Tie a length of cotton around it's body under its wings 4. Tie the other end to something outside 5. When it heats up and wakes up it flies round like a little wasp kite thingy!

dangerous brain
Anti histamine pills for allergies will help. I basically have nasty reactions to wasps. My face swelled up to the size of a football last time I got stung in the face.
loks
I organized a "fun" run through the closed area between HK and China last weekend and the trail went through an area of pretty thick undergrowth. When I was setting the damn thing I disturbed a hornets nest and got stung myself a few times. Very painfull at the time and the bumps took ages to go down. Now there were over 60 people following along after me and I didn't change the route . Set up a water stop just after the hornets nest and it was a right hoot watching them all pass the nest, firstly start hopping around and then sprinting away towards us to escape I am a bad man
