SMiFFAD
Try one of the admiral group insurers, admiral, elephany, bell, shelas wheels () They arent performance insurers and dont tend to like more thean 6 mods, but normally come out very cheap. Admiral were about the only people who would insure me on my old import mr2 when i was
st3ven1
Try Bell, i was insured for £1000 fully comp when i was 20 on a J-spec TT6. Mind you, my postcode probably helps me alot, i live in a small town. Also try playing about with online quotes, i don't mean lie. Just lower your annual milage, add your mum, drive another car on a regular basis (regular is very subjective, christmas is regular ) you will be surprised how much of a difference it can make. Goodluck.
Guest mick1641
How old are you mate? When I got my UK Supra I was with Endsleigh. I tried to get insurance for the Supra through them, and the best they could quote me was £3300 !!! I'm 24 with no points and 4 years NCB. I'm 23 with 5 years NCB with 3 points on the licence for an SP60 in chelmsford (never saw the dam thing). That was almost three years ago now. Like st3ven1 said - it probably helps me that i'm in a rather small town. Still don't understand how Elephant can get almost £400 quid off Endsleighs quote!. i think ill have to ring them up to confirm the price. snake
The best thing about getting older is the insurance is cheaper. I bought a car for my daughter insurance for me £120 for her £800 for a 1.3 fiesta.:nana: These days the insurance = the value of the car so if someone hits you and the insurance scraps it they lose feck all.
