New speed camera? Or is it?

So Doug, what happens when I drive past an ANPR camera without a front plate? Does it get flagged somewhere or does it just skip it?

Not that we have them down here yet, or many speed cameras, but I guess it'll come eventually.

TBH Jake

Methinks they face both ways (inbound and outbound) at certain points otherwise they wouldn't be able to get a motorcycle. ;)

If there is no numbers on a plate to recognise, then all the camera sees is a meaningless lump, so how can it do anything? There is nothing to flag as it wouldn't be able to differentiate between your plate-less car and a horse.

Which is probably why the police don't take too kindly to cars without plates
