garetheves
Need to change my door handles this weekend, i understand it isnt the hardest of jobs and therefore the chance of me fu*king it up like i usually do is slim. To help make sure i dont though, are there any How To guides out there or can someone who has done it before at least post up how to. Homer
Cheers guys. How easy are the door cards to take off without damaging them and where are the bolts/screws for them located?? It's very easy mate. From memory, there are two plastic clips on the side slam panel (push the centres bit in to remove). There's 3 or 4 screws underneath the door card which just undo. Then there's a couple of screws (have plastic caps) and another of those push-in plastic clips at the front of the door. Next, look down into the handle area and remove the platic cap in there and undo the bolt. There is also one screw behind the handle which just needs undoing so you can remove the plastic surround on the door handle That should be enough to get the card off the door, it should lift up and out. There is also a plug to remove for the door speaker. 5 minutes job

turbonut
Hi Gaz Probably a bit late in the day but if your changing them as they've gone pink you may not need to after all. I used Meguires ScratchX at the weekend, (mines RED too plenty of elbow grease and several applications followed by gold class polish but they've come up cherry red and gleaming, taken out the fine scratches too. Worked a treat on my jspec lights as well. Maybe give it a try first?? Good luck anyway fellah lol Lx
