luke marshall
i was going to have a custom exhaust made later this month but then i saw xs power on ebay they do a TRD style pipe for £250 that looks sound. has any one used them and has any one got the pipe im thinking of getting, wondering what it will sound like on a auto n/a
Blackie
i had one on my n/a, got it of ebay off the same people, totally nice down low but on motorways and nailing it it will do your head in, far too loud ( for me) nice power increse though and its about half the weight of the standard one
Homer
They're a fairly quiet exhaust, but on an NA it will be a bit louder. From the one I've seen seem pretty well put together. You can't really complain for £250 though!
luke marshall
im running a power flow system at the moment and it sounds like a corsa at 3500 rpm not a good sound from a so called super car. lol so any thing is better than that
Adam
I have one on mine and it is loud and sounds nice. I have also recently put a double de cat on and it was so loud it would have been a red rag to the police so only got one on mow. Well worth it
Homer
Forgot to mention, don't get fooled by the TRD thing, it's bull. The TRD exhausts are totally different. If you want something supercar-ish, go for a Japenese straight-through system It will be loud though

Adam
yeah i had to keep the front de cat on as the old one was knackered. So i removed the middle pipe

As blackie said they are built very well i will say i took it through this 2 mile tunnel in hatfield and nearly come in my pants it sounded that good, but for general everyday use imo its too loud, but as they say, if its too loud your too old. well i am 30 i supose

Guest Geneb
hmmm good job 5zigen know more about exhaust systems than you isn't it michael, especially as they sell at over a grand. http://www.envyperformance.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=product.display&Product_ID=6900 i would have thought a long time member would be able to tell the difference between a whistle and a performance exhaust. I don't claim to be an exhaust manufacturer, the last time I checked that wasn't something you needed to be in order to discuss the aesthetics of a Supra part. I had a 5Zigen on my MR2, it rotted away, it looked a damn site better than the whistle though. Each to their own though.
