Hmm - I have no desire to own a turbo, but I do like the look of that.

A couple of idle questions :

Would the stickers come off easily? Also - I'm not an expert in turbos, and why you need half a dozen new gauges tacked on - what are the extra gauges on it, and are they actually necessary? They kind of look a bit ugly to me.

Edit : What's on the back of the mirrors? Another sticker?

Mine came with stickers on. They came off quite easily with patience, fingernails and a little petrol or Autoglym Tar Spot remover.

You could warm them with a hair dryer if very stubborn.

Ah - actually, your signature has just spoiled it for me. Because I've just realised that if I did want to jump to a turbo, I'd want to go VVTi.

Dont worry the gauges have gone already and the interior is now grey instead of blue, looks much better now.

I'm not sure that's the answer my bank balance wanted to hear.

Do you have any pics of the interior as it is now?

Also - at the risk of showing my ignorance - can you clarify how non-stock the car is? I don't mean bodykit etc. - but engine-wise. I know you've listed the spec but I don't really know what half of it means.

Edit - as far as I can see, the engine is mostly stock - apart from clutch and ECU upgrade. What effect does the ECU upgrade have?

No pics at present but I can take some when I get back in the office on Friday if needed?

ECU upgrade just a fine tune of the stock ECU, Mines ECU's are suppose to be very good although I've never compared them on a dyno. It has a boost controller fitted so will be running around 1.2 bar boost so should kick out around 400bhp approx, this can be turned down if required of course!

Cheers

OK - so basically, the boost controller will allow increased boost on an essentially stock engine - and can be turned down to stock boost if required.

I would be interested in pics of the interior. I don't promise anything will come of it - I was not actively looking, and didn't have any particular desire for a turbo - but I do like the look of it. If I was interested, I would need to get rid of my NA though.

Having slept on it - I can save you the trouble of posting new interior pics (at least for me). I've spent far too much money recently, and have some boring (but expensive) house stuff planned so buying a new car doesn't seem that sensible.
