Rumbling, choking engine

Hi everyone.....

I recently collected my Supra returned from a garage (had a full respray)

The garage had my car for 3 weeks and when I drove my car out I noticed that the engine sounded like it was vibrating/rumbling. I thought this would probably be condensation (a little bit of water and oil came out from the exhaust) so I drove the car around a bit but no luck.

The car has now been driven over 200 miles and is drinking more petrol and has a REALLY slow pickup 0-60 in about 11 seconds! and sounds unhealthy.

Does anyone have any idea what this could be. The garage wont accept any responsibilty and I know the car was 100% before it went in.

Another thing, sometimes whilst driving when the revs go over 5000 it suddenly picks up speed really quickly.

Oh and another thing, my steering feels very stiff too since!

Thanks in advance to any replies!!

Its a 1998 NA Auto... sorry forget to mention that!

Here's my best guess. The outer ring of the crank pulley has come off and damaged the intercooler bottom plastic pipe, hence poor performance.

On an NA? :p

Just a thought, is it definitely firing on all 6 cylinders? The engine will run on 5 cylinders, but this will cause vibration and reduced power.
