RobSheffield
Saw one of these today, looked awesome, but a little slow (i could keep up with him in my Pug - although we were in about an inch of standing water - respectful distances ) Apparently 420bhp http://www.jaguar.com/uk/en/xk/highlights/highlights/performance.htm

RedM
I got blown away by one of these recently. Search for me writing about nutters and Jags!
mikeyb10supra
There seriously quick cars....a BPU supra would struggle to be honest. Its on my list of cars I would like to own
RedM
There seriously quick cars....a BPU supra would struggle to be honest. Its on my list of cars I would like to own For that money I'd go with a C6 Z06. Loads of no lag fun without the supercharger whine and the smell of driving gloves. dini_the_owl
you would have to spend a bit on one though IMO to make it not handle like a tank.
jamesmark
On the way to Squires the other night I was harrassed by an S-Type Jag it looked pretty mean (as in sports model) and it kept up with me although I was still pulling away slightly right up to 130 leptons. I do not think it would have had much luck if I floored it though as still to to fit my BCC. Impressive cars those Jags.

dangerous brain
Yeah the newer ones look OK but a mate of mine bought the last shape and they just look cack. They are too roundy to be a masculine car but way too huge and lumbering to be a hairdresser motor either. IMHO its for the 45-55 year old male in his pink pringle top thats never played golf in his life and can't figure out why he's never been married
Mas
There seriously quick cars....a BPU supra would struggle to be honest. Its on my list of cars I would like to own 420 BHP and 0-60 is 4.9 sec, isnt that sort of Stock TT performance with less BHP? I'd say a BPU would kill it
RedM
420 BHP and 0-60 is 4.9 sec, isnt that sort of Stock TT performance with less BHP? I'd say a BPU would kill it They pick up speed a lot quicker than a BPU I reckon. When I got pwned by one it took off in the same way that my local Vette nemesis does. Supercharged innit! jamesmark
Was it silver and did it follow you all the way to Squires? It was either black or a dark blue, it looked really nice. It was nose to tail from the Shell garage on the A1, then I statrted to pull away when it turned into 3 lanes.
Wez
I really like these and have been looking at them myself for a daily driver, mind you not the 420hp version.
Mike
I really like these, but then I remember the last time we chatted about them ,Pete mentioned one of his mates had one and it had nothing but problems.....
hadyn
On paper the jag seems to be tt manual esque performance. Just shows how bugger all has progressed in mass production sports cars in nearly 2 decades
