Pressure Tank Testing?

Today I fitted back all my standard piping to my car now the problem is it feels like a NA i get 0.5bar boost and its doesnt hold, Im thinking its a pressure issue, i've been reading and people say about a noise when disconnecting a pressure line which i dont get, my next step tomorrow is bypass the VSV valves if i still get the problem ill try wire open the actuators.

Anyone recommend any other tests, wireing open the actuators looks like a real pain.

If its the pressure tank is there any guides to replacing it, is it a big job?

The thing that makes me thing its the tank is the fact i dont get any pressure release noise when disconnecting the pipes unless i have it wired in wrong, ill try bypass the vsvs then use a foot pump to open up both valve then try another pressure tank if none of that works.

Anyone know how much mr T charges for a tank?

Weeeeee..... Not fixed up i bypassed the VSV's and connected a foot pump and open then valve and OMG!!! that is scary!!!, now just to work out why i have no pressure from the tank :(

Does anyone have any pictures of the lines which run from the pressure tank to the hard pipes along the turbos so i can check them first.

How much for the tank inc postage, will ring see how much they are new too as would prefer a new one if im going to have to replace it.

Anyone know any good way to check that there is just pressure coming out of the tank, if i dissconnect the pressure line and rev the car should i be able to feel it?

This is what I was told to do by a trusted member of the club;

there are only two pipes to the tank. Blow in one whilst holding thumb over the other. Wait couple of secs then take thumb away and you should hear the air escaping which is the sign the pump works. If you don't hear escaping air when you take your thumb away then tank nackered.

Good luck!

thanks to the help of my trusty foot pump and you guys checked all leads and vsv and cars working in seq mode. Now the problem i have...

If i have the second turbo is connected to the wastegate i only get 0.5bar boost, if i block off the connection from the turbo so it doesnt go to the second wastegate it overboosts to around 1.6 bar when the second turbo come online.

Any ideas?

Cant believe all the time ive had the car ive been in single turbo mode!
