Digsy
...if you want to find out more about the Supra engine, I can thoroughly recommend reading the New Car Features documents on MKIV.com I work with engines every day, and I enjoyed reading it immensely. Its an excellent resource.

Justin
The other day I found this in the front luggage area of my Supra underneath the bonnet. Can anyone tell me what it is please. Do I need it? It seems to take up alot of unecessary room.

Adam W
Reminds me of a joke: Brad and Flip are driving along in a Volkswagen Beetle while there Supras are being serviced. The car stops suddenly, and Flip jumps out and opens the bonnet. "Here, Bradsta, your engines fallen out!" "It's alright Flip, there's a spare one in the boot"
damar2000
If you are going to go for the platinum plug variety be careful they don't oil up. I think they are more prone because they are hotter. Mine have oiled twice - the first time needed replacements and the second time a good clean did the job. To avoid oiling plugs up make sure you let the engine warm up properly before switching it off. Otherwise you might end up scaring yourself when the motor will only fire on a couple of cylinders and there is loads of blue smoke coming out of the back! Has anyone else had this unfortunate experience? Cheers Dave

Are you sure it's oil and not an extremely rich mixture ?
Flipfinger
You're all (i) 's. I knew how hot a cat got, and nobody else did. Not even the 'experts'. I know how many cylinders my car has got, and how many spark plugs. I can't find a left-handed screwdriver anywhere though. It's a big issue for us sinister types.
