Guest Sakura Posted October 20, 2004 Share Posted October 20, 2004 When the subscription runs out, or you buy a second-hand unit, it will still work, up to the detection level it was last updated to. You just won't be able to upgrade. The lifetime subscriptions are a fairly good deal, depending on how long you would keep the unit.
