Kind of disappointed with the hipocrisy of the Live Earth gigs.

What i want to know is WTF is a carbon footprint FFS. What a load of old shite.

The expression didn't even exist 2 years ago yet now it's as common as chav.

It's a contrite load of old bollocks and a platform for flagging tired out old has beens and up and coming artists to be "right on and PC and we're saving the world".

If you want to talk about "carbon footprints" imagine how much it has cost financially and envirnomentally to host it all.

Carbon footprints, were left by chimney sweeps during Victorian times when they were careless and didn't put down enough dust sheets. Not some trendy buzzword bollocks coined up by some pr guru during some brainstorming session to describe mans' impact on the environment.

Well I wouldn't hold your breath mate.

I know. I just find it odd that bands that have been pushing environmental issues and alternative ways of living for years prior to all this are strangely absent.

For me the highlights of the show so far:

RHCP were fantastic

Black Eyed Peas - Fergie looked stunning.

Keane

Kasabian were good too

Shakira - gorgeous hips :D

Metallica - nothing else matters other than making money from these stupid idiots was the steal of the show :)

I havent seen Gordon Brown yet, isnt he going to make an appearance?

Don't know what to think of it all, every living creature exhales c02, i have children, will i have grand children? i do not know, but i think it is all a crock of shit, is climate changing?, yes, is it all the cause of human's, maybe, maybe not, can we change it, i severely doubt it, we emit too much methane and c02 just by living, may we have to adapt to a world that is overun by water?, probably, i will have 1000hp speed boat then!!, i think humans generally speaking are assholes, but we have too high opinion of ourselves, i do not believe we could have had such an effect, the planet will not live forever anyway so perhaps the time is nigh and we are just here now, if the planet is living then surely it must die eventually, or at least change??:)

I've no idea what they're going to do millions of years into the future as the Sun expands to destroy the Earth and then the planets, solar systems and galaxies fly further and further apart until it's all just cold, dark rocks on space.

I've no idea what they'll do either, but I'd bet on Phil bl**dy Collins being involved!

Foo Fighters were good :)

Yeah they were.

I was pissed at the BBC, I had a feeling they'd try to switch to anything but Metallica when they came on.. started with Enrico Englasias before they started and then switched over to Australia to Crowed house at the end of their set and we missed Enter Sandman.

No worries, any real fan will see a the propper performance tommorow at Wembely.

They did the same with the Beastie Boys, maybe they were paranoid at the lanugage that some of these bands would come out with so to be safe switch off!.. either that or they're still scared of hard rock/metal on their prime channel. Cocks.

..and the New York gig is sponsored by Chevy!

They're probably the biggest environmentally concerned car company in the US.. look at Saturn (part of GM) and all the biofuel cars they are selling in the US now. Its Chrysler's boss who calls Global warming a joke and who have done nothing to change their car design/production direction.

Foo fighters were beyond belief, awesome, awesome, awesome

Brilliant, just bloody brilliant - they so need to come back and just do Wembley Stadium on their own, like Dave said - 4 nights would be amazing!
