Flipfinger
Both, if possible......just looking for a ballpark figure, as they need pumping up.

Syed Shah
I personally find 36psi a bit too hard. It all goes down to personal preferance, but just for some iinfo, I run 32psi at the front and 30psi at the back in both cars.
lust2luv
Most popular pressures last time this came up seemed to be 36 front, 34 rear. That's what I run in the summer. Obviously YMMV.
AJI
The tyre walls will show what the max PSI you can put in, different makes and compuonds will have different limits. It will come down to how you drive your car in the end, too lower pressures will lower the grip but will make for a smoother ride. Higher pressures are generally better for giving more of a feel for whats going on with the road. They are also better for biting through water and giving more grip. Lower limit would be 30psi and upper limit would be something like 48psi but remember to check what your tyre wall says. I have my fronts at 44psi and rears at 36psi as my front max limit is 51psi and rear max limit is 45psi. As tyres get older they tend to become more flexible and give the impression that they may be getting flat, this was the case with my fronts so if your wondering why my fronts are at an unsually high pressure it is to counter act the side wall flexing. Personally I wouldn't go below 30psi on any tyre and not above 44psi. Also I wouldn't have too bigger difference between front and rear pressures because the Supra has a very good front to rear weight ratio and this would lead to bad handling on corners. Terminator
I run 35psi front 34psi rear and have done for about 6 months. My rears are wearing slightly faster in the center than at the edges. That would indicate that the pressure is too high. The book says 36 all round. For stock 16 and stock 17. Now I am getting confused. Syed if you are running 30psi at the rear, how do your tyres wear? Flipfinger
Interesting one, innit? I was running around 26ish psi on the back tyres, and they were wearing pretty evenly.... Tyre walls don't say what psi they need - neither does the spare, my grasp of kanji is pretty limited, and the Japanese use numbers anyway. And NOBODY stocks Dunlop Formula's in this country, so I had to bung on a slightly different tyre (still a Dunlop, similar tread pattern)
Syed Shah
Originally posted by Terminator Syed if you are running 30psi at the rear, how do your tyres wear? Well, they tend to wear slightly more on the inside (suspension) but otherwise fairly even (not exceesive side wea, which would mean too little pressure). I have tried 36psi, and the ride is too high and the tires wear in the middle.
