Disabling ABS from the cabin

I'd like to wire up a dash switch to turn ABS on and off so I don't have to remove or replace the fuse under the bonnet.

 

What's the best way of doing this? Looking at the wiring diagram I could just switch terminal A25 of the ECU which is battery voltage.

 

Wouldn't be looking to turn ABS off mid-journey but what would happen if I did?

I thought about wiring up a switch to do this a long time back but never did.

can I ask why? I remember braking hard in my old Golf GTI without ABS and bricking it when I started skidding towards another car rather than stopping

I just know if I disable ABS by taking the fuse out I'll probably forget to put it back in.

Not yet - I'd forgotten about it actually.

 

I am going to be fitting a line lock kit soon anyway, so will have a think about that as well.

 

I'd like to add though if any technical peeps have an idea as to do this, please let me know
