Wez
Mine made 510hp 500ft/lbs at 1.4bar on stock jspec engine with a PHR Stage 1 nonDBB at SRR. EDIT: above info is for reference, as at 1.5bar I would hope to see approx 550hp.
kslb
But bare in mind that the PHR Stage 2 is a 66mm Turbo, only the Stage 2+ is the 67mm. It is the GT67 2+DBB
Wez
It is the GT67 2+DBB I am guessing that its similar to a BL67 DBB, would be nice to see a dyno graph.
suprafan72
Probably the normal bullshit :d:d This board is getting full of hate of tuning none stop!!! Maybe we should all keep to stock? Mind you, what would there be to bitch about???

tooquicktostop
I dont hate tuning, if I did I would never have brought another Supra after tuning one before , that after owning Scoobies and a R32 GTR I do have some issues with the tuners who perform their tasks and dont give any explanation to the customer on the results achieved and the factors that effected these, seeing 500bhp fly for the PHR DBB2+ turbo at 1.5 bar seems quite short of what you would expect, I would have expected a tuner to explain their thoughts to the client on what factors could have delivered this result, this may be the case however so I may stand corrected
Jake
Mine made 580 fly at 1.5 bar on the same dyno just for info on a T04R Turbo The same Dyno? Which one is that then? I keep asking but not getting an answer!
tooquicktostop
The same Dyno? Which one is that then? I keep asking but not getting an answer! I presume (dangerous I know) that it was at Marlin Motorsport in Bletchley as it was stated ' near Santa Pod ' and Dan has set up 'Advanced something or other' there

Bobbeh
But bare in mind that the PHR Stage 2 is a 66mm Turbo, only the Stage 2+ is the 67mm. That wouldnt explain the lack of power from this dyno. The 66 was a very capable turbo in its day.

Jake
Its the one Dan allways uses at Advance Motorsport in bletchley. That's the one mine caught fire on then. Mine made 522bhp and 670Nm (495 ft-lbs) with just a PHR Stage 1 at 1.4bar on the same Dyno. (Although I do have cams and a Motec m600, dunno if that makes a difference)
tooquicktostop
Thats what I thought and was the reason I posted, I would have expected the client to have been told the reason for the lower than expected figure based on that turbo's spec
Wez
How does the AEM control the VVTI system, I have heard it can be done but just wondered how.

Muffleman
would have expected the client to have been told the reason for the lower than expected figure based on that turbo's spec Nope, no explanation was given to me either as to why after a little more mapping, my turbo was spooling later than when I dropped the car off
Marty
I too am suprised at the HP, thought itd be in the 600's matey. Mine made 570 at 1.1bar on a t67, but i have the cams. Cant see them making that huge a difference though.
tooquicktostop
I am sure Gaz at Envy will have the details for us later as it is their build Gaz were you expecting more power ?? I also understand that power is not everything and I would swop that 500 fly right now for my situation

wkdtime
Motorscope in north allerton. http://www.motorscope.co.uk/ Same place Jay and Michel get their's done at. Ahh ok, Had mine dyno'd at Dan's and it gave me figures that were quite a bit less than the figures from a previous dyno run with the same boost at another location. Few of the guy's who have had a dyno run at Dan's all agree that the figures seem to be very conservative.

(Although I do have cams and a Motec m600, dunno if that makes a difference) Jake, If I remember rightly you have HKS forged pistons? At reasonable boost levels a good forged piston can yield greater power (owing to less piston deformation and blowby and they'll also conduct heat out of the chamber better too). Do you know what static compression ratio your motor is built to have?
