Tattoo Removal

My g/f started having this done - although she only went to one appointment because some personal issues meant she couldn't continue.

It was going to be pretty expensive. The one she wanted removed had green in it - and that's the worst colour to remove I think. I could be wrong - but I think she was looking at about £60 per appointment and I think they were telling her it would take about a dozen appointments.

Oh - and it was very painful apparently.

If its an arm or a leg, amputation may be cheaper. Whats the saying "tattoo in haste, regret in leisure"

The unfortunate thing is, she has 3. The one she wants removed is OK. The one she thinks she might have removed one day is OK. The one she loves and will never ever remove is f*****g horrible, and I would consider chopping her bloody leg off.

Last I looked (a couple of years ago) laser tattoo removal cost about 10x the cost of the original tattoo (at least), hurt like hell, and would NEVER truely remove the ink.

It works by breaking down the cell structure of the ink under the skin, so it could be absorbed by the body. It's only partly effective, and you end up with a staining effect on the skin. How bad that is depends on how lucky you are!
