Charlotte
I often ask myself the same question. Especially when friends decide it's the best thing to bring you from America.

Supragal
The whole US chocolate being different I kinda don't get because they still have Mars and that's the same. I just don't believe that a country that produced peanut butter M&M's (Which quite frankly I could die eating) can think that Hersheys is acceptable?? paul_y3k
what we used to call Cheapo Chocolate. very vile - it was the one thing I hated when i was in Texas. But on the other hand, Dr Pepper made we cane sugar is soo much better than the normal stuff !

Supragal
no no no. they are too dry and the crunch of the M&M shell means they are better The outer flavour choc isn't as good either.

MrHanky
Yep, Hershey bars do indeed suck. One thing I do love from the states are Twinkies. I do my best to get friends to bring them back for me every now and then as they are very addictive. Great when frozen too

Big Ads
Funny thing is, Americans think we all crave the crap over here. Just coz it's a fortune in Selfridges. When ever I go to the US they're always trying to ply me with the stuff!
colsoop
I quite like hershey bars. I can't stand their Taffee sweets though, its like the flavours of hubba bubba but in soft toffee form.
