colsoop
Can anyone give me some tips for removing the handbrake. I am replacing my old OEM with a new OEM unit. I have the centre console off and it looks pretty straight forward, just wondered if anyone who has done it has some pearls of the wisdom kind for me . thanks. Matti85
Not much to it relly, just remove the center dash, and the elbowbox or what y call it, it will then show all the internals of the handbrake, it fitted with 2 very big bolts pointed to the drivers side and one smaller pointed to the pass side, after its loose y need to release the wire by opening up a metal plate (by a screwdriver or something) Remove all that above and y will se what a mean, a straight forward job relly, just takes sometime to undo the 2 big bolts since the driver seat is in the way, but take it easy and patience and they will come off. Thanks for the reply. Once i get some power back in the battery i will have a go at this (the seatbelt mount is right in the way of one of those big bolts at the moment)
