Little scrotes have tried nicking my bike!

Got a text off my flatmate before, some fecking scrotes have tried to have it away with my XT500! He shouted out the window and they scarpered.

Just got home to find it half way across the car park with no sidepanels, the switchgear in peices and the clamp holding the front brake lever snapped off. Bastards! If they'd have been there when I came home I'd have driven straight over the little @@!

XT500:d

Now that's a classic, the forefather of all trail/enduro bikes.

Unimpressive by today's standards, but definately a classic for those who know...

I've had XT550 and XT600 early and Tenere, used to be a fan:cool:

Also had XT350. KLR 600 was my last trail bike, about 20years ago. I could barely touch the ground with my toes while waiting on the lights, lol.

I then moved on to 4 cylinder street bikes.

I'd still buy a low-slung XT500 though - comfy, reliable and practical for slow rides around the med.

I'm a massive fan of big single cylinder thumpers. I'd really like another Husky or KTM, but just don't have the money right now. And if I had the patience and technical ability to keep it running I'd have an old Panther.
