Cost me under 1 1/2 tanks of petrol to get there. 100 odd quid for the ferry, and 100 quid for about 13 laps. Accomodation.. depends where you stay.. we paid 100£ for 2 people in room, for 3 nights. Guest Beany
Count me in. This sounds awesome. Plus, if not totally offensive to everyone would have a Scooby and MR2 Turbo in tow too (and possibly a 350z).

At first when i saw that it was costing £380 each way, nearly fell off my chair I can live with that, but it would double the mileage i'd have done in it in the last 2 years!! Bobbeh
Hehe yeah, thats with the Ferry, again we went with a group of cars and bikers and were able to get the price down to £115 I think. C'mon fella.. use the car for what it was designed for GT'ing around Europe!

Supraman
Route map from Glasgow: http://www.multimap.com/map/aproute.cgi?client=public&lang=&useRJS3=true&rn=EU&input_rt=aproute_pan&startcountry=GB&startrd=&starttown=Glasgow&startpc=&endcountry=DE&endrd=&endtown=Nurburg&endpc=&qs=q&starttime=21%3A48 To give indication of travel times and mileage. We could organise a Scot convoy but depending on ferry times we might have to travel down Thursday night/Friday morning.
Whitelightning
When would this trip be commencing ?
Bobbeh
I dont think there will be one trip as such, firstly you're never gonna get that many people booked in (edit - all in the same place), theres not enough room unless you stay miles away from the place. I have a feeling there will be a few visits, earliest being around Easter time.
Whitelightning
Sounds good - I will talk to the gang and see who wants to go.

attilauk
Bobbeh is right, there are too many people interested to do one trip. the guys from the UJCC are thinking about a trip in june now as there is a hell of a lot going on in may (Japfest, Rotorstock etc and the F1 is at the ring in may too!) so i will probably go on that trip.
