Shocking!

Had the back wheels off today to clear out a load of mud (about half a fields worth!)

 

Found one of my shocks in less than ideal condition, see photo. The top metal ring is loose and the bottom plastic thing is snapped at the back I think.

 

Is that the shocks gone then? The other side is fine! (pic 2).

Maybe thats why your car sat so low against mine at the Reading meet the other day ;)

I think you're right mate. And I did notice my car looks slightly pissed as the driver's side rear must be lower than the passenger side now, or maybe I just need to lose weight :)

 

At least it's a good explanation for my creaking and clonking noises... looking forward to a much better ride when it's all sorted as I don't think the suspension has ever been right since I got it!
