Guest Nellyville
Had a word with some mates about induction kits and which is best? Some say K&N and i get quite a few recommending Pipercross! They say the problem with K&N is that the filter does let quite alot of muck through, and that pipercross gives a few more extra horses? Does anybody have any of these fitted (or any other) as i do want to fit one to mine:search:
JustGav
The true answer is.. don't fit any, stick with the stock airbox, as it provides the best. The extra horses bit is nothing more than marketing blurb.... hot air in the engine bay will take away the extra power you get. I personally use a HKS panel filter in the stock airbox, might not sound as 'meaty' but the car prefers it *grin*

jamesmark
of the Stock or Apexi thats it really, never ever go for a foam mushroom one as they only block out large particals.

As already said, keep the stock airbox, it provides the best filtration and has 2 cool air feeds. A TRD panel filter may make a slight difference, but no big gains.
