Soop Dogg Posted June 29, 2007 Share Posted June 29, 2007 Well, Angie and myself arrived in Minneapolis yesterday. (I'm sitting up in bed typing this at 7am local time!) At the airport yesterday, went to pick up my Dodge Charger that'd I'd ordered and.......they'd run out of them! () The other car in the same group was a Chrysler Pacifica which is a cross between a people carrier and a 4x4. (Not bad but not what I wanted to have for 2 weeks!) So anyway, Jerry the car hire man took a liking to Angie (they have the same birthday, don't you know? Obviously fate!) and started looking through the list of cars they did still have in stock. So, 'What did you end up with?' you ask....... . . . . . . . . . . we've got 2 weeks in which we have to put up with driving around in........a convertible Mustang! As Angie fancies buying one of these in a year or two, she's over the moon! Haven't seen any Supras or even a Corvette yet! See you all in a couple of weeks - we're off to find breakfast! Due to be about 26 deg here today - 40 deg (ish) by Tuesday! (Top will then be firmly UP on the car 'cos that's just too hot!) Oh - enjoy the rain at the weekend - won't you! Love you all! No pics as yet - in fact we didn't use it today - too busy wandering around downtown and doing some shopping. I'll try to sort some out over the next few days and get them posted up.
