Do Grounding Kits Actualy work?

Toyota grounding points - paint the car, place the ring on top of the paint, put the bolt through and let the threads break the paint when it tightens up, and thats a grounding point. Quality, real quality, as when it passes through a few spot welded panels its a fine signal lol.

Mind you, it kinda pointless without the live being upgraded too.

Brighter healights, better bass response if you have a sub etc.

If you dont clean up all the cars earth points when fitting then its a waste of time.

Heeeheee and all the other unmeasurables they quote on the packaging ;) Better throttle response, more 'drivability'. Although better bass response is a new one on me.

If you do clean up all the earth points you won't need the kit in the first place  That's the only reason people think they work I reckon.

Putting an earth ground kit on the car is a workaround... The toyota grounding points are the best going, HOWEVER they aren't always the easiest to get to, and generally people take the easy route and just fit a ground kit.

If you took the time to clean up ALL the stock ground points it would be as good if not better than a grounding kit.

i just got myself a proper "earth" cable (left over from rewiring the house) ... removed a bolt from under hood, sanded paint down to bare metal - latched on the cable to the nut and tightend, and the other end to the engine ;) job done and it cost me nothing! :)
