Shame they've got to badge it as a Lexus over here and the US, just to sell it to knobs who cant see past a badge. You cant really blame toyota for that decision after the poor sales of the mk 4 supra in the west.

Heres hoping its badged as a Supra in japan :)

That should have been the MKV supra.looks very similar and sounds so sweet!

Its a supra really :)

Thats the way I see it. The FT-HS could be seen as the next gen Celica, the LF-A as the new Supra. The MkIV is a Lexus afterall, all bar the badge. Its so cool that they have paid homage to the timeless MkIV shape.....I'm actually quite excited by all this, but somehow they have managed to ensure the current Supra hasnt suddenly become antiquated if that makes any sense.

In the article it says the price will be around $100,000

-this at present equates to around £50,000.Now toyota Uk will probably try to charge us 100k for this, but what will the japanese charge and may it be worth importing one from the US?

Remember the Uk supras were about 40k when new so its not that far off the price considering inflation over the last 10 or so years.

Jurgen may have an insight into this soon enough. The first few 350Zeds in this country were imports, and from what I saw they were way over the eventual UK native price...people just wanted to be the first to have them I suppose. I wouldnt be suprised if the import market was strong from the start.

They started selling Lexus cars in Japan last year, so I doubt it would be branded as a Toyota there either.

Wow sounds like an F1 car. Looks cool and I have so say impressive bit of editing to sneak in a mk4 supra to that video :) Yeah £50k pounds isn't too bad a deal really when you consider what you can't buy for that money any more :D Time to stop cocking around and save up for a real lexus instead of my pretend one huh :D
