MMM, You guys. An original Vielside supra looks the bollocks, its what put the modified Supra on the map and one of the biggest and most respected kits still in Japan today. Any other kit only proceeded it although some kits do look nicer. In the few i have seen on Supra,s, not many are original kits and yes, I do have the full kit but having owned Supras before its the one that gets the most attention to any non-Supra owners....( just my opinion guys.)

( just my opinion guys.)

Probably best to learn to spell it before you try and convert us but you are entitled to your opinion... it's wrong but you are entitled to it ;)

It's just a bit old in the tooth now I guess, it tries too hard, it's a little "tacky" - but then this is just my opinion, if you like it just enjoy it, it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks.

Ive done body kits before on other cars , i just feel that these days theres such focus on chavs etc etc, that the moment you put a kit on a car your associated with them. (Not trying to offend anyone here)

The vielside body kits are just too in your face for my liking, but they most definately get attention.

I just feel the supra is a stunning looking car anyway, i even love the standard spoiler so this time i think im going to leave it alone looks wise.

That Mini is god damn awful, id certainly b using a car cover if that was on my drive lol.

To be fair a NA you could pick up one for as little as ~3grand (most likely a bag of sick mind, but still). But i agree dole money , no way lol

I can only see the problem with chav drivers increasing as the prices for these iconic cars drop :( :( :(.

I wanted the supra since the days of playing the first release of Need For Speed on the PC ( i was about 17 or something, god knows), soon as i could sensibly insure one that was it.......now restoring it to its as new former glory is my plan lol.

Sorry if im talking shit, but it certainly beats doing work!

I think it has a stigma with it coz of all the "Corsa kits" that try to replicate Veilside, hence dragging the image down.

I thought the stigma started when you got yours mate.....:p

anyone else want a trip down memory lane???

Is that anywhere near Sh!t street?? :D

The whole Veilside argument is a "Marmite" thing. The rear spoiler should carry a health warning though!!

I liked the Veilside kit when I saw it the first time. I've always prefered standard Supras but the old kit was exciting. It looked well made, good fair lines and no wobbly bits. That was in the days when MkIV Supra ownership was just a dream. Posters and mag articles was as close as I got. I even liked the term 'Orimental' that was bandied around as the definitive Jap Style. Then I got my first MkIV I just grew up I guess. I dont hate the old Veilside kit, but I dont agree with those that call it the definitive 'JDM' Supra body styling. Its just A style, and theres far more attractive, better designed ones around these days.
