Ash, You mean SLD mate. A FCD (Fuel Cut) has nothing to do with limiting speed.

I also thought that UK spec Supras were limited to 155 as standard. It may be that Richy's car has had a delimiter fitted but it's now playing up. 155mph genuine speed would equal around 170mph on the clock.

As a side note, I believe that J-specs that have had SLDs fitted to unrestrict them from 112mph (180kph) will still hit the limiter at 180mph. Can anyone confirm this?

They are still limited to 155mph, but if you get a thor sld then you can interupt the orange wire coming from the ecu so you can do any speed :innocent: but of course only 70 on the roads :p , are uk speedo's still really out then, i had to adjust mine by 8% by the thor sld to compensate for my wheels etc, and then it was right (gps etc)

I've hit a genuine 160mph with the TRAC fuse in place, which is when the speed limiter came in - it seems it's a 'soft' limiter which allows a little play in the restricted speed. Pulled the TRAC fuse out and got 168mph before I ran out of room. It's the third 7.5 fuse from the passenger wing.
