Lewis
Wow, lovely motor. 700BHP through an landy autobox?! THIS RANGE ROVER WOULD COST OVER £100K TO REPLECATE TODAY!!
dangerous brain
I know. And the funny thing is if I amalgamate 2 motors into just 1 I can save a grand a year easily. I'd have to LPG it as I couldn't afford to run a 6.3 litre motor back to the UK all the time but man that is one stunner of a rangey. I can't drive my aristo as its stuck in the UK alot and am in danger of get locked up when I do drive it as my self restraint isn't what it should be My mrs wants 7 seats, this wagon has them. And I adore my rangey (when its not being a wallowy old blanket).

dangerous brain
No clarkson didn't test this one he tested a 5.0 litre one with about 350 bhp not a converted 6.3 one This is the yank engine so can take some hideous power if you choose to stick chargers on it unlike the brit engine that struggles with its piston liners as is. dangerous brain
I have a stock 4.6 HSE and consider that to be well slow lol. That said the cars to compare its speed to have recently been a BPU+++ supe and a single turbo aristo so hardly fair lol.

Lewis
Where does 700bhp come from? It says 400 in the ad. :search:dunno Must have misread it - brainfart?!
dangerous brain
Yeah I thought that but charge it and you'll easily see 700 horses but also over 700 torqueys You can also stick 7 persons in it and the rear passengers could wave at the guy in the RS6 or porsche as you leave him behind
carl0s
:search:dunno Must have misread it - brainfart?! It's still bloody powerful at 400 though..

Dave Haggas
I owned a Triumph tr 8 that was done by Overfinch in 1990.They bought a brand new 3.9 ltr Range Rover to do as their demonstrator, the 3.9 came out and went into the TR and they put a chevy in the Range Rover. The workmanship was rubbish,so Im not surprised there is no under bonnet pictures. It was their one and only attempt at a TR7 to TR 8 conversion......Lets hope they have improved.
