Boost Gauge sensor?

Justin

Recommended Posts

Help needed here folks. My digital boost gauge has this sensor (see pic). It has a screw thread as it is designed to be tapped into a drilled hole in the inlet manifold (according to the instructions). Call me Mr cautious but I don't fancy any drilling. So I need to connect the vac hose to the sensor somehow. Phil W suggested some sort of stepper but no one seems to be able to sell me anything suitable.

The tube is too small for to fit around the screw thread of the sensor and too big to fit inside it. Does anyone know where I can buy something/knock something up that will do the job? I need a 'boost gauge sensor to OEM Vac hose' shop but there don't seem to be any bizarrely.

Can anybody give me a sensible workable solution that will be acheivable for me?

Cheers a lot. :)
