Guest PyAri
Hi, This is my first post and I am hoping that one of you can help me. I tried searching through the topics, but I didn't find anything similar to my issue. The alternator on my car went bad a few weeks ago. I took it to be replaced 2 days ago and when I came back home I realized that the trac light, not the TRAC OFF light, stays on. I've never seen this light before. What does it mean? How do I turn it off? I know the guy couldn't get the car to idle so he turned that up, but as far as I know that's the only thing he did other than replacing the alternator. What is causing this light to be on? Pic attached below: http://pyari.zoomshare.com/files/IMG00028.JPG Thank you for any help in advance.
spidermonkey
maybe a blown fuse for the traction control??
part_timer
The fuse for the TRAC is the same on for the power steering and the antenna. If these also dont work, you've blown the fuse; 2 minute job to replace. (Mines calls it "slip control" though so i might be wrong)
csa
hmm...my TRC light is also on, ant the antenna doesn't work, but the powersteering works just fine...is that also a fuse problem?
