Dale B
Coming home tonight from work I noticed some 'hesitation' when pulling away in traffic. I gave it some gentle throttle whilst in neutral (up to approx 1500 rpm) and the engine went revved between 1500 - 800 (ish) without me letting off the throttle. Never thought more about it and decided to open her up on a long quiet straight. It ran well but the 'main warning' light came on. I looked around the dash for any other lights flashing and the only one was the 'active spoiler' button, which is odd coz its been removed. The main warning stayed on til I got home (about 2 minutes), once home I let the turbos cool and then restarted, no lights... great, BUT I lifted the bonnet and noticed some faint smoke coming from the rear of the engine (couldnt see exactly where from). ANY IDEAS ANYONE??, I was hoping that the elec cable to what was the active spoiler is in that location an maybe is touchng the exhaust, but knowing my luck I doubt it. I just thought it odd that the spoiler light came on even though it aint connected.
