hi all, got an alarm for the supra it is 95 N/A j-spec auto the info with alarm asks for the wiring for :

ignition low current solenoid feed wire,

fuse for interior light circuit (for current sensing)

the alarm gives out a 12v negative output on arm and a 12v output on disarm, i have to find a place to wire into central locking circuit, this is the main area of help i need,, does the supra work on a negative pulse for the locking, and where would i tie in to the wiring to fit alarm, i may need an interface module for central locking,

could any of the experts point me in the right direction or post the relevent diagrams on the group pleeeeeese

alarm type is microscan AN214 with microwave 2 stage shock sensing,

immobiliser, central locking outputs

ignition low current solenoid feed wire,

This will be one for one of the immobiliser circuits on the alarm, the wire will be in the ones coming from the ignition barrel. It will prevent the starter motor from operating. Cant remember what colour it is though.

Bare in mind I've got a facelift car and I'm not sure if all the Supra's have the same wiring.

I checked them all first with my multimeter.

The following were located in the fuse box in the drivers footwell

The ones for the central locking on my car were .

The blue connector at the bottom right.

red/white wire goes to 0 volts to lock the car

red/green wire goes to 0 volts to unlock the car

Current sensing on my car.

Blue connector at very top left

The green wire is normally at 12 volts and goes to 0 volts when the door is opened.

Indicators on my car were.

White connector at bottom left.

Green/yellow wire and green/black wire

thanks merckx

whem you say blue connector at bottom right and white conn at bott left are you mening behind fusebox or the actual fuse holders connections, you mention that these were in the fusebox in the footwell, just need to clarify the whereabouts of the connectors,

again thanks for your trouble

great bunch here, just noticed after i posted last night that the wiring diagrams are on the electrical info page,, had a look, but still double dutch, will have to print them off and look at them as a whole i think,

am also going to strip dash tomorrow to tackle the head unit which is dead, and knocking from suspension,

will post findings

thanks and bye for now, if you can let me know before tomorrow on the connector positions please that would help a lot

john
