Guest AJFleming
Right having fun with a Twin turbo 6 spd supra I have at the moment. Its a 1994 stage 1 tune, remapped ECU, greddy front mount intercooler, Greddy BOV, Blitz induction kit, HKS exhaust system with 1 catalyst removed, Greddy profec A boost controller. Running standard sequential twin turbo's. Heres the problem, it tries to BOOST its head off! I have checked for piping leaks but there are none, however I fear that the boost controller is plumbed in incorrectly. Only problem is that I can't tell how it should of been plumbed in (as standard) as its running this crazy sequential system that like the FD3 RX7 has pipes absolutely everywhere. Does anyone have any ideas? Does anyone have any boost controller installation instructions specific to a JZA80 twin sequential turbo Supra???!?!? Please help as after a day of swapping pipes over yesterday and using some common sense to try and fix it I am really stuck. Ant.
Alex
If the Profec is in Fuzzy Logic (auto) mode it won't work properly... The GReddy Actuator should be plumbed into the actuators in front of Turbo 1 (front). But as to which pipe goes where I can't remember. If the Profec has an off button I'd try that first! Otherwise cut the 12v feed to it. Then test the car boost controller less.
Alex
And why isn't it on your web site yet??
Guest AJFleming
It's sold thats why Damn, I have already tried switching the thing off and it still over boosts. If I had the diagrams I could try and plumb it back to standard and see if it still overboosts then....
MR SUPRA T
r you sure your settings are not to high. what are you fugures for you gain %, set gain % set at. i have the profec b and when i had this set up at first it was over boosting but only cos the settings were to high. the plumbing should be ok as long as you have plugs it the correct pipes to the correct actuators etc. will see if i can get a diagram out as my friend has been using my manual. will hit you back on sat/mon if i find out where my mate has my manual as it must be quite simular to yours
