francis
Well at the moment I've got an HKS Ti Racing exhaust, lovely sound on the throttle but I think it really is too loud for central London, especially with the double decat. I'm thinking about the alternatives... ideally something that fits nice and snug, not too low ground clearance (although the HKS is absolutely fine) and not something that's going to hold me back... (not planning to go single any time soon). Any ideas? I had heard about the new Nur Spec that is supposed to be really quiet, has anyone had that on their car? Cheers, Francis
jamesmark
The Nur Spec is probabaly one of the loudest to be honest. I have a Kakimoto and I was wanting to go to the Nur Spec as it is louder but clearence is an issue it hangs low.
Pig
Nur spec is far from quiet mate. Not sure on your best option though - doh too slow
francis
Sorry guys I was talking about the new Nur Spec RX, has anyone tried it? I had a Nur Spec R in the past and yeah it was loud, and that was before the decat!

GeordieSteve
I've got a really nice (and damn rare!) exhaust. It's not silent but sounds great when you put your boot down. Sure I've got a video on the dyno somewhere and can take pics if you'd be interested in doing a deal

jamesmark
Apexi N1 evo and Tanabe Racing are nice sounding exhausts not to loud. Super Dragger is quiet almost embarrassingly quiet I was behinf MK47 when he had one of those on his car and it was almost stock like on full throttle. RedM
RS*R. Although on a more serious note my Greddy Ti is nice for urban driving and burbles well on idle.
swandip
Get one custom built, I did as didn't want it to loud and with clearance as well. Not to expensive either.

Wez
I had a Nur Spec RX on order but it fell through sadly, according to the spec they should be very quiet. Have you not thought about fitting some siliencers inline on the second decat pipe, someone like Hayward & Scott should be able to do this. After de-cat this exhaust is extremely loud. Too loud IMO. I'm thinking about replace 2nd de-cat pipe for a custom-build silncer. BTW. I was told that Tanabe Medalion Touring is very quiet. AndrewOW
How many of these alternatives are stainless steel? As the Nur Spec is, thats why I got one for my car. Corrosion free.

Lucas
I am thinking of getting ride of mine. I have a Veilside backbox and the twin pipe configuration from the cat back. It’s got 3 silencers on it and it’s very quite. I am not sure what model the back box is thou.
Carl
I have a nice standard one you could have, otherwise you could try the Mongoose exhaust system. I have one on my car and its barely louder than standard which is great if you donr want the noise. Carl
