Mike_Mac Posted June 17, 2007 Share Posted June 17, 2007 Well I finally got back from the delights of Basra to find that my wife had unpacked my re-furbed H/L. I was disappointed and thought they looked just as cloudy as when I sent them in.... Until I looked a bit closer, wiped off a month's worth of dust and thought WOW! Today I managed to find the time to fit them and I am impressed. They look even better in the flesh. I think the before/after pics speak volumes. Thanks Jon - top-notch work! I've just been threatened with divorce if I spend any more money on the car. Don't quite know how to tell her i'd just got some dash panels and UK front brakes last night already. The old lady who lives next door to the garage I got it towed to many months ago with a blown HG said the same - 'why did you get a Silver one? they're so unfashionable now!' as it was wheeled in! You are a brave man Mike. My wife would return my testicles by UPS if I did that!! Then again if you have seen the sights of Basra then a wife is no where near as frightening...........probably!! H.
