Matt H
Im sitting her at my computer, about to finish the job ive been doing for 3.5 years typing on the good old faithful keyboard. Its my last day today before i start my new job on Monday. Im looking forward to going and starting my new job but i cant help felling a little sad today as such a big chunk of my life has been up here in Preston. The ups and the Lows. I met my last long term girlfriend through work, she was my bosses daughter!! my first property. my work collegues. Think im even going to miss travelling up and down the M6 each day! not my new boss tho hes a tit! Well.. ive cleared my desk, handed in my passes and just in the process of making CD's of my work. So its farewell to my life in Preston and hello back to Manchester where im (nearly) from. Ive bee looking forward to going now for a while but now its D-Day i feel upset over the whole thing. Anybody else been like this moving jobs?

Matt H
cheers guys. Think part of it is moving away from my ex girlfreind too. we only broke up a few months back and its kinda like i wont ever see her again now. dont get me wrong its for the best breaking up but 2 and a bit years of my life were spent with her so i still miss her from time to time and you know this just adds to the whole sadness of leaving

RobSheffield
Its a slightly wierd company I called in sick last night as i seem to have caught a stinking cold (i think i caught it from the woman who came back before she was better and sat next to me sneezing and coughing!) And they sounded well unimpressed on the phone! The guy has in fact taken no holiday. Its not the company keeping him there. he gets 25-30 days off a year but doesnt take them!! Willson
My dad has worked for Somerfield for over 40 years lol. started as a saturday boy, stacking shelves when he was 13 and has been a project manager for as long as i can remember. You could probably count the sick days on one hand too. I hate starting new jobs, but also can't wait to get out of this shower I work at now.... Roll on graduation in the new year.... :-D
