jamesmark
I do not think suicide is covered in polices as they will probably not pay out because depression is a hard thing to prove and also had to prove how long they have suffered it. They would argue that the person was depressed when insurance was taken out so the cover will be null in void. Dangerous driving I think would be covered as it is not deliberate, as in the person never set out to kill themselves........................ unless Who you trying to make go nuts? or whos brake lines you cutting? H. Sod off this is my idea all i need is medical details on who ever i insure and im laughin had a quote for £26 per month for £450.000.00 for standard healthy person so if i insure say 20 people who i know dont give a hoot wether they live or die the odds are im gonna end up quids in. Ewen
AFAIK, you need the signed, authorised permission of the person you want to insure, and also you must have an investible interest in the person...ie, family. You are in viaticals and cleensheeting territory here. Scary thread:d

This sounds like a good idea. You want to organise a meet/convoy and nudge the backends of a few as you are flying down the motorway!! May make you an accessory to murder though!! H. Pot
Mr G - If you want, I work with certain people who do the certain websites for a certain insurance company (One of a few companies just in case I've already said who I work for, we contract stuff out as well... lol)... And I used to work for a Zur*ich*cough* (Sorry, think I'm getting hayfever) named company in their IT department in a similar job, so I can ask a few questions within their legal departments on a 'what if' basis... But trust me, I'd say they've already got that sort of stuff covered...
Jake
I thought about doing this a few years ago when my mate took his CBT to get his bike license and then bought an R1 as his first bike. Suicide is not covered by life ins policies but accidents are.
neil tt
I have a policy with Abbey, and it covers me for suicide, as long as I have had the policy for more than 6 months:)
