Chris Wilson
Excellent, more if anyone has any! The 2nd picture shows an engine installation a good deal lower, and that'd make quite difference to the C of G of the car. Thanks!
Chris Wilson
what you planning Chris?? Nothing, someone asked if a Skyline engine in a Supra was (fairly) straightforward.
jamesmark
I got them just by putting in RB26 powered supra into altavista.com as google was rubbish.

Daston
What would the advantage (if any) be chris would you be able to get the awd tranny?

TLicense
Nothing, someone asked if a Skyline engine in a Supra was (fairly) straightforward. Just tell them that you think you've found a fix for the main crank seal problem. No matter what you modification you do to the oil pump, it's got to be easier than this! jamesmark
Trial done one, Muffleman has contacted them I think re his supra maybe he has a contact?
Chris Wilson
What would the advantage (if any) be chris would you be able to get the awd tranny? The chap has a decent Skyline engine, and a wrecked R33 chassis, his wife likes Supras and hates Skylines, hence he thought of putting his engine in a cheap N/A Supra. He'd be simplest using the RWD gearbox from the GTS-t behind his engine, then hope the gearlever came out where the hole in the tunnel is, make a propshaft, mountings and hoses and all sundry pipework, and fit the Skyline engine loom with his Power FC, and try and get the instruments to work. If he wanted working A/C this would be further expense. Personally I think he'd be better just buying another Skyline with a blown engine, or selling his bits and buying a stock TT, but hey, takes all sorts, and I might make a fortune out of him from this
