My other half bought a brand new car 2 months ago and she's been dead careful not to mark it, not a single kerb mark on the wheels etc.

she comes home today upset, someone has driven into it while it was parked in the car-park and scraped up the side of the rear quarter/wheel arch :(

I've done my best to clean it up, it looks a lot better now but really it needs a body shop as there is still a dent there in the wheel arch.

It's not even done 2000 miles! FFS

why do C*nts do this, I'd seriously give someone a kickin if I saw them do this but odds on it was some dodery oap who shouldn't even be driving or something.

grrrr damn this sort of thing makes me cross. Ok so we all make mistakes, where's the note with details on it that any decent person should leave at the very least.

anyone got any ideas where it should be taken to get it sorted and how much it might cost?

I remember my ex wife (not ex for the damage described !) coming home upset with a dent in the rear bumper of my ST24, I had only brought it a couple of weeks before, she cried and said it happed in a car park and when she returned it was there, I later found out she had done it by reversing into a post at work

Moto - never tell you work friends anything it will get back to those you dont want to know !

Blimey, unlucky fella, it probably was a doddery OAP who either thought a) I didn't hit anything, or b) Whoops, oh, they'll be OK with that, we had to put up with much worse back in our day...

I hope it doesn't cost too much to get sorted... Any CCTV in the car park?...

thanks, I believe her plus there were straight line scratch across the alloy wheel too (can't do then when you're moving).

This is the person must have started to scrape along it and thought, f*ck it, I've started so I might as well carry on now... a-holes!

no cctv apparently in that car park :(

guess we just swallow the cost to fix it, won;t be an insurance job, not worth it.

some people are scum!

sorry to hear this mate, If you know where Phoenix (Mark) is, there is a guy (Colin) next door to him who actually I hehard is doing a good job, give Mark a call and if its close enough to you then there might be the cheapest place to get it sorted.

I feel your pain same happend to my last supra just at xmas as well! clipped the rear quater and ran a massive crease all the way down to the door hinge! Luckly the old chaps car was still there parked 2" away from my car with a big black line down his white bumper. They claimed he didnt even realise he hit it!

Thats a b@stard Chilli.....:(

3 Months ago, I had only had my Supe a fortnight and some cnut reversed accross the back of it in a Honda civic. He caught the rear bumper in two places and knocked my exhaust off it's fittings at the rear. He drove off but people at the Mascrat meet saw him and left his details on my windscreen. I polished out the marks and re-fitted the exhaust at the scene but every month I go looking for his car at the meet, just so I can bury my foot in his door!!

Tw@t!!:badmood:  :aggress:

Hope you get it sorted and not to expensively. I was lucky that the damage needed no outside assistance!

H.
